Friend has an Aygo apart from carrying them on the roof anyone got any other idea of a rack that would do the job? Has to be easy to put on / off.

Halfords Rear 3-Cycle Carrier on the hatchback.

I am selling my spare on ebay, starting later today.

You are welcome to come round and try it in Wokingham.

I used to use it on my Nova SR, before I sold the car to a collector!

Its a glass rear door with no steel or plastic frame, so a bit dodgy to hang something offa it.

This must be due to car weight. Since you only want to mount a bike rack, I'd still go with towbar mounting. Try a specialist to see what's available.

I had a peugeot107 for a while, that is almos the same car. I had two bikes and two passengers in my car, both wheels off.

was a struggle, I much prefered that to hanging anything off the back of it.

I have seen roof bars, but this for one bike only i think

if its not rated to tow you wont get a tow bar -specialist or not, they've had to meet EU drective 94/20/EC since the 90's.

It also usually means theres no tow bar mounting points on the chassis

cut roof off.
put bikes upright on back seat with fork and front wheel hanging over the tail gate with a bit of carpet for protection.
live the dream.

Thanks everyone, I'll look into roofbars for her, can't put bikes inside as they are her boys bikes so no room for them going down that route.

Didn't think hanging bikes off the glass tailgate was a good idea.
