I'm after a bit of collective knopwledge.....
Bike has some one-piece carbon bars fitted with a wide / flat taper to near the stem that moves to a round shape at the end whhere the levers are. Bars are Syncros Fraser iC SL Carbon for the texchnically minded.
I want to fit a front light (Exposure MaxX) and for those familar this comes with a round bar bracket. I'm thinig that I either need some sort of extender from my current bars to a round 31.8 diameter to fix the light clamp to or some kind of extender that fixes via the top cap. I could mouint the light towards the far end of the bars, but basically it would be right up by the levers and would be grim.
Any thoughts from the collective mind / expereince on this......
Some ideas.
Designed and 3d print an adapter sleeve.
Make one out of some of resin using your bars and a bit of pipe and tape as a mould.
Whittle some from a bit of wood or plastic.
my mate switched his off a scott to regular bars and stem.
otherwise i found exposure very responsive to whatsapp/ messenger via facebook app
they should be able to tell you
I bought a top-cap with a GoPro mount off ebay. Was only a couple of quid, and seems great on the one ride I've had with it.
Might be a bit low if you have a long and high rise stem, but no worries with a modern stumpy stem.
You need an Exposure Aero bar mount - £4, job jobbed.

If you can fit a GoPro mount to it, then Exposure do a great GoPro adaptor.

I’m glad you asked this question lucien. I’ve got the Syncros Hixon on my bike and was just trying to figure out how to mount a light.
I’m tempted to just try my Diablo on my helmet and see if it gives off enough light on the trails.
Easier than 3D printing, just get either some sugru or generic epoxy putty from B&Q/Screwfix/Toolstation.
Wrap the bars and light in electrical tape to prevent it from sticking to them. Kneed the putty (make about double what you think you will need, I'd say a small cocktail sausage ) to mix the catalyst. Roughly shape it into the correct rectangle, put it on the bars, press the light into it (have the light on and facing down a road/trail so you can aim it). Leave it for a minute to go off a little. then pull it off, trim it back with a Stanley knife to neaten it up, and press it back down to let it dry completely.
Then just add some long velcro tie wraps to hold the lamp in place.
