Am having to sell my Trek Madone road bike as suffer from a bad back. Work have just started a C2W scheme so just wondering if anyone can recommend a flat barred hybrid that can be bought on the scheme as my Chiropractor has suggested one, think it has to be under a grand?

Alternatively, can you pay the difference of whatever the bike costs minus the £1000 I'm allowed on the C2W?

Try looking at endurance road? Can be setup with very neutral drop and shorter reach, a decent bike with a bike fitting session should work very well!

Multiple hand positions from drop bars can be beneficial compared to a flat bar

Cheers Esher - bought the frame and never got measured up. May be worth spending a few quid on a bike fitting session - never thought of that!!

@chunk

It's the best money you can spend once you have a reasonable bike.

I'd choose a good aluminium bike (i.e. Allez or Defy) with a great bike fit

rather than a £10k carbon superbike with a poor fit 😉

Kinesis Tipster ACE is aluminium but a worthy option, if the bike fit doesn't work out
