I suspect cleaning my bike with something other than water might be a good idea but does mucoff have any nasty side effects with carbon?

Just thought i'd ask before I go squirting it allover and it bursts into flames.

That's magnesium.

Carbon releases a mixture of Cyanide (it begins with C so it must be true) and nano tubes (the daily mail told me) it will then explode and roll down the hill spewing osteriches everywhere.

Nope, just don't leave it too long on aluminium, it tarnished my middle chainring.

A bottle of fenwicks left on the windosill dissolved through the bottom of the bottle then stripped the paint off!

Since then I've just used supermarket brand cleaners sprayed on and a bucket of hot water and cheep car wash/wax to wash it off.

Have used Fenwicks (is it No. 10 or something?) and some other degreaser on my carbon Stumpy with no problems.
