Okay, no replies relating to 'you get what you pay for' please.

Just finished second ride on new frame and all great except that the seatpost is fouling horribly on the 2 rivets that hold the front mech cable guide in place.

Rivets must be steel as they show no sign of wearing down and the brand new post looks a right mess. Can't get the saddle low enough for decents either more to the point.

Any ideas on a tool that I can employ to grind the bleeders down?

I've tried a file and a piece of screwed rod to no avail.

Anyone else had this problem or is this a QC issue?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking - emailed them just now - problem is I'm in Spain. Don't what to have to send it back so need to fix it here really.

Amazing frame though barring rivets.

Mine is also fine, but noticed that one of the front guide rivets is a sharp edge I will need to dremel off at some point.

might be best to drill the old one out and put a new rivet in.

As andy says, if the rivet gun is pretty crap, it maybe sticking out too far internally, as it hasnt worked properly on my rivet.

Yeah - I'll wait for on-one to reply before taking a drill to a brand new frame! The only rivet gun I have is totally rubbish too.
