[Closed] Canyon Nerve owners, anyone drilled frame to run a full length cable outer?

As title, considering drilling out the small hole where the cable enters the downtube a little so a full length cable outer can be run. Anyone done it? What could possibly go wrong?!

I think the cable exit point down by the bottom bracket is a really poor design, having an open cable outer at the lowest, wettest point on the bike, also when not running a front mech cable the crappy plastic bung thing floats around unless you secure it somehow. I'd much rather run a full length outer to keep shifting sweet.

Careful of cables rattling inside the frame.

I haven't drilled a frame (and probably wouldn't to be honest) but I have enlarged cable guides to run full outers. I used a needle file rather than a drill - I suspect a drill would be overkill, doesn't take more than a few minutes to file soft alu.
