I'm trying to replace the bearings on my 2012 Canyon Nerve AM after i noticed some serious movement in the rear triangle when pedaling.

I'm struggling to get the four bearings at the back out. They are labelled as 16 on this diagram and I haven't been able to move them at all.

Any advice or knowlegde would be a real help!!

Cheers

You can't push them through, there's a lip in between them so you need to pull them out. A blind puller will do it most easily but if you stick a drift in from behind each one and tap them out carefully from the back that'll do it too.

By the way, unless the main pivot bearings (22) are clearly screwed, don't disturb them. It's a spherical bearing, so a bit more expensive than normal, and it's quite hard to get at them without a blind puller. They're pretty durable compared to the normal cartridge bearings on the rest of the assembly so you can often leave them even when the others need doing.
