Help. Tried hard to twist the reflectors off the shimano pdm520 pedals on my new cx bike. Anyone got tips or wanna swap pedals?

I've had this before and managed to loosen the spring tension off to loosen it up a little. Should be able to get a hex key in with it still fitted.
Thanks druidh. Really useful. I'll go and do just that.
just use a hacksaw to cut the plastic bits, easiier when fitted to bike.
They are a tad stiff - but sufficient twist & pull gets them out after a few tries. Easier when fitted on the bike.

A bit OTT!!
Lever the back of the cleated part out with a screwdriver... to open the spring. Do this when they're on the bike to avoid stabbing yourself in the palm with it ๐

That. Seriously. Eat some porage for breakfast and you'll manage it fine.

Works for me.

Cool. Thanks all. Just wish we were all as good as druidh. What a great name as well. By Jove.
You got them out yet? ๐
They...are...off.
Could've just gone for a ride at a trail centre, judging by the number of them littering the trails, they appear to spontaneously fall off whenever they're near one.

Do you want the reflectors? If not, I would like them.

I've got some that I've just taken off some 520's and don't think I'll ever use. The plastic is a little squished where I levered them out with a screwdriver, but they should still fit back in OK.
If you want them, send me a mail (address in profile) with your address & whatnot and I'll stick them in the post (once I remember!). Won't be able to do it until next week.....
