With a lefty fork installed...
Is it just a case of popping off the fork clamps, removing the steerer tube and then tapping/drifting out the bearings and replacing? Anyone know if special tools are needed for this?
A link to any video or instructions would be useful.

You don't take off the fork clamps, just loosen the bolts and remove the steerer tube.

it is pretty much as you have said .For me its the bottom bearing that siezes to the steerer thats the one to watch, drift this off little taps and refit new.I have a piece of tube that acts as a drift to push the new bearing over the steerer(hope that makes sence)I fill my bearings with thick grease but still only get about a year out of the bottom bearing
