I want a Vicious Cycles frame just for their amazing array of paint jobs. Spiderbike anyone?

I'd be quite interested to know what forks people have found to go with said frame that is road friendly - I saw this one - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220394456684 last week and almost went for one. With low rider mounts, V/canti posts and disk mounts it has all options covered.

picked up a Croix de Fer in a shop recently - rather weighty! - ok for commute / tour but a fit hefty for racing

The salsa would be my pick if I had some spare ££

Those Karbona forks look pretty good - 740g as opposed to about 1kg for my project 2s

yeah a steel frame and cable discs will never be a light combo, i doubt anyone would race that set-up but it's great for winter exploraion etc.
the croix de fer's forks are about 700g but the discs add quite a bit ( but compared to cani's in the mud...

Cotic or Genesis Croix. All quite heavy though and disc brakes are a bit of an overkill on narrow tyres.
