Can you please recommend me some suitable grips? Current ones are wearing out, looking for something comfortable for long rides rather than thrashing downhill.

ta muchly 🙂

using Bonty ones at the moment - they do double and single lockons, and ones with a flange. All good.

ESI Chunky work for me, but am currently trying out some Ergon GA1s, but too early to comment on those yet.

I'm using animal bike co edwin grips, not lock on though. Great grips though.
ODI longnecks are grand too

ODI Ruffian's

Only grips I'd ever buy. On both bikes, love 'em.

I use ODI rogues and love them. Only grips I can use as anything smaller gives me hand cramps. But as Superstar have brought out big ones I shall try them next as a lot cheaper.

Lizard skinz charger works great for me. Grippy, never found them uncomfortable, even work gloveless if you swing that way.

ODI Rogues last for ages, but are really only suitable for those of us with very large paws. Mine outlived the locking collars themselves and still had plenty of rubber on them after three years of daily use.

I use Lizard Skins Chargers, mine have lasted 18 months so far and I quite like them. Next time round I want something with slightly more padding though.

I've got girl hands and I still love the Rogues. Good for all riding I reckon.

Do they do a lock-on now?

Salsa Juenos de Fuegos are my grip of choice.

Tried a few ODI grips and the only ones I really liked are the Yeti, use them all the time now. A couple of grips I tried in the past and rated are the WTB tech trail (notice they now do lock on) and the Onza Ules (started making these again now - was sad when they stopped.) Both quite narrow but sticky.
