I have a camel back and just wondered if any one does a small camera bag that will fit on the shoulder strap, I would like to take more pics while I out and about but find it bit of a faff to keep taking my bag of and get my camera out, something that would fit on the shoulder strap would be a lot more convenient

Many camera pouches with belt loops would go over the webbing strap of the Camelbak, I'd have thought - it wouldn't have to be specific for that use. Try looking on Amazon etc., should be easy to find some cheap decent options...

I've had a couple of Lowe Pro apex pouches for this. They're not particularly cheap but last very well. They have a double velcro closure thing on the back so they fit securely to straps. It takes a bit of experimentation to find the best place, a small piece of bungee cord or zip ties can be handy to stop it sliding up and down the strap.

Edit: they come in all possible sizes, choose one that's a snug fit

Deuter camera cases are designed for this. The smallest ne is a fiver from cotswold outdoors

As above, I use a Lowe Pro for mine. Bag is only weather proof but my camera is fully waterproof so not an issue.

+1 for Lowe Pro Apex (assuming you have a fairly compact camera).

They fit well with decent Velcro, although I bought a cheap caribina style clip to add a bit more security.

They come with a waterproof cover that folds into the bottom of the case.

I just got a new Canon Powershot which was too big for the Apex I had so went for a LP Santiago, not as weatherproof but more 'armoured' with foam inside as well.
I'm more liable to fall on it than get it wet! ๐Ÿ˜•

The Lowepro Dashpoints have vertical and horizontal closures so will fit either on a waist belt or on a shoulder strap.

Been using the Dashpoint 20 for a few years now to carry a Canon G10, Olympus XZ-1 an more recently a Panny LX100.
