Hi all,
Just spotted the Schwale Ultremo tyre on my road bike has a bubble in the sidewall and the tube is poking through. It is only about the size of a pea but the tyre is only about 500 miles old and I'd rather not replace it unless I have to!

Cheers

Chris

Back to the shop; they had a bad batch of these tires...

Not quite sure what you mean by a bubble, is it torn? The only thing I've ever done to repair a tyre is glue in a piece of another tyre, but only on MTB tyres.

I wouldn't if you're a 100psi-plus sort of rider

On mtb I have put a patch on the inside of the tyre. Might work on a roadbike, should withstand the pressure as you can patch an innertube? Might induce a bit of wobble if it's large but I shouldn't have thought so.

Try it see if it works?

My lbs told me there had been problems with delamination in a batch, causing the bubbles. Go see if they will swap it.
