My x7 rear mech seems to be loosing its tension, I'm sure I've read you can adjust the clutch tension ?

Yeah you can (well XX1 and XO1). You need to pop the plastic cover off the outer clutch face, and use an 8mm Allen key to wind it up a bit.
I had to do mine (XO1) as it was massively baggy, made it a lot quieter.
