As above. Would prefer steel but not averse to a "cheaper" Ti frame. Any recommendations please?
Will be used for exploring local lanes and the odd sportive.
Thanks.
Where are you? For that price you could easily have a nice custom steel frame (which I'd take over cheap ti any day).
Discs or caliper brakes?
I got a pick and flick earlier in the year. A faf getting it but worth it.
You are getting into the realm of custom frames, but off the peg, my Condor Fratello Disc has been lovely, and you can get one of the custom colours at that budget.
Ti frames - there's an interesting Spa disc brake road/do it all frame around that price?
I'd be happy with a Fairlight Strael and a chunk of change left over but you could easily get a custom if you are feeling it burning a hole in your pocket
Sorry guys, non disc.@ danny Cumbria.
I'm a little biased because I own one but I'd be making a call to Nigel Wilson in Sheffield.
Proper old school frame builder who creates the most sublime frames. Been building all his life and was taught by his dad who built frames all his life.
Will never part with mine. Just a joy to ride...
