I'm thinking of getting a few made, preferably in gold.

Can anyone help?

What sort of waiting times should we expect?

I would be interested in a red one, studded with rubies preferably. I'm willing to pay up to £5K

Put me down for a frisbee / bucket-coaster key ring!

I actually have an original Mint Sauce keyring, and it wouldn't be too hard to make a mould from it, surely? How would I go about that?

Yeah, then I could knock out loads, and punt 'em out to people on here and other bike forums! 😀

Anybody else read Mr Burts rant in this months What MTB about waiting on people. Apparently he finds it really annoying.

No access to a copy. Any chance of a transcript, or at least some choice quotes? 🙂

Non friends need not expect the same courtesy.

Well, I've got a jeweller friend who says the keyrings can be ready in 18 months.

Any takers?

"I ran out of patience with latecomers a long time ago"

It's almost poetic, isn't it?

i'll order one as long as it turns up a year later looking like a hello kitty cock ring.

I'll order one if it actually looks like Mint rather than some generic badly drawn sheep (as I've seen on some cuff-links which were doubtless cheap knock-offs).

Yes, would a delivery time of 18 months be suitable for you?

If you could do 36 months delivery instead, could I pay twice as much?

ononeorange - 48 months delivery time at an estimate, give or take a few years.

Yossarian - I will need payment up front.

Do you both mind if the key ring looks nothing like Mint Sauce?

An update on the key rings- I've been in touch with the jeweller and they've told me that due to no good reason at all, the key rings will be ready in about 2014, if all goes to plan.

Quick update: the jeweller has told me the key rings will be ready in 2015 at the earliest, and the price has gone up due to gold prices.

I'd have ordered one, had it been platinum....

Incidentally (or perhaps coincidentally) I was rummaging through a cardboard box earlier & found my actual mint sauce keyring. Although the little loop of metal broke off ages ago, so it's not really a keyring anymore...

Someone took pity and sent me theirs for free it's hanging from my car mirror. I've ended up borrowing it for more than a few days.
