Hoping to head off to the North York Moors and looking for a good campsite around the Rosedale Abbey/Great Fry Up area as we are going to do some of the classics in the area.
Would prefer cheap and basic if possible rather than a huge caravan site. Preferably by a good pub (not essential as we will be taking some real ale mini kegs).
Dont mind driving a bit if you know of a good one elsewhere in the area

There is a campsite in Rosedale itself. Nearby is the Coach House pub which is okay, there used to be a few others, but they're currently closed due to going into administration. If you're lucky, the White Horse Farm pub might be open again if the syndicate wanting to take it on gets the go ahead.
There's a FC one [Spiers?] down the road a couple of miles from Rosedale IIRC
