Afternoon all,
The Redhill Beer Festival continues to go from strength to strength and here's a chance to go for a ride with some like minded (local-ish) folk and then sup some of the 60 (yes 60) beers on offer. I'm organising this as a way to meet local riders (although all welcomed) and to put something back into thye STW community (which is such a great resource).
Date and time: Thurs 29th Oct, meet 6:15 for 6:30pm roll
Meeting place: Noke Drive (At the end by the school clicky for map), just round the corner from Redhill station.
Ride: 2 hours ish east of Redhill, ending up at the beer festival (In Merstham Village Hall at about 8:30pm). Route will be singlespeed friendly. You will need lights, and please bring a bike lock for the beer festival if you're planning on staying for a jar or two ๐ Oh and be aware that the festival will be lots of fun, but quite busy. And its 3 quid to get in but you get a cool souvenir glass and lots of atmosphere! Stay for as long you like, and its make your own home (Merstham is a 10 minute easy beery spin back to Redhill)
Travel: This ride is particularly aimed at riders from the Redhill/Reigate areas, but all are welcome. Train is best if you are travelling here (and means you can have a beer!). Parking in Redhill in the evenings is possible but a little tricky - drop me a line for details.
Hope to see some of you there
Thanks
