Only ridden in calderdale once in a largish group and feel that didnt ride the best bits. Does any have any route suggestions which take in some of the best bits? A gpx/mmo file would be great. Email martyn(at)mrh86(d0t)co(dot)uk

Start from Hebden. Head up, then down, cross the canal and main road. Then up and along then down a bit. Then along and then down and along. Then up again steeply, cross the road and then cheeky through someones garden. Then along the road and left down more cheeky. Fast bit, rocky slab bit, twisty steep bit and some steps. Then along the road, ride up to Heptonstall. Then around the back of the church and along the lane. Down the path, turn left, then right, then keep right. Fast bit, steep drop, turn left. Flat out pedal pedal pedal. Right switchback, fast singletrack over rocks and roots and walker placed obstacles (they don't realise it makes it more fun). Sharp left, drop down the steps and onto the main road. Pedal to Coffee Cali and eat cake and drink coffee.
