I'll be in Japan for a few days next month. I may have a chance to do a bit of shopping when I'm there.
Does anyone know if bike bits (thinking Shimano mostly) are cheaper there than here? I'll be in Tokyo so maybe not the cheapest area!

I'd imagine like most things in Japan they'll be pretty expensive.

I was in Tokyo and Nagano before Christmas - all the bike shops I found were more expensive than our lbs.

In fact i Couldn't find anything that was cheaper in Japan.

Just spent two weeks in Japan and 4 days in Tokyo...it's an awesome place!
I spotted a few bike shop's near the Tokyo Sky Tree but could never find them again in the MEGA CITY that is Tokyo

Spend your time and money looking at the sights and buy your bike stuff here.

Enjoy!
