Looking to by a coil shock for my nomad in time for the summer alps trip - couple of q's I hope the collective can help with -

1. If I buy from somewhere like CRC/Merlin will it come with bushes?
2. If I buy from TFt it says 'ready to bolt on' so presume this means it comes with bushs and the correct shock bolts?
3. What would you estimate the extra weight of bodyarmour / full face is - another 10kg on top of body weight?
4. For approx 95kg suited up rider does a 400lb spring sound right (8.5x2.5) comes up on the spring calculator I googled but seems light
5. Are shocks 'valved' for different platforms (vpp etc...) or will it work fine if I just bolt it on

Ta.

1.crc no bushes usually.
2.usually just get bushes use existing bolts
3.Depends on armour used, weight yourself
4.Depends on bike the shock's fitted to leverage ratio e.t.c
5.Shocks usually valved for joe average 11/12 rider, a tune for weight, bike and riding style will improve performance considerably.
