I’ve been wanting to a dirt jump bike for some time. Most builds are sold out and second hand prices are still high So thoughts on building one The octane one zircus 2020 (similiar to ns bikes movement) for £140 plus a cheap 27.5 rockshox Judy gold 100 boost 110x15 £150 Headset shouldn’t be a problem, accepts straight or tapered, the crown to axle is 492mm so not that taller than on a manitou circus expert 100mm 478mm that seems to be the stock shock on most dj bike Will the Judy be too big, running 26 wheels, is the fork tough enough Mainly pump tracks smaller jumps rather than massive slope style riding Likely have to get the wheels built, front hub 110x15 and rear 135mmx10mm bolts

You don't have to.

One of these will fit on your existing freehub body,

Amazing, thanks... Just need one of those in Shimano freehub version

and then a Hope Pro 2 conversion kit to 10mm bolt in, just need to find stock now!...

you might want to budget/find chain tugs as well. its possible to set up a rear wheel without them, but much easier if you've got some. not sure if they come with the frame or not

Judy arrived today ... now waiting for a mystery frame to arrive to see what else fits.

yes, you'll want chaintugs. Bit of a pain on the zircus as the sliding drops are so short but I managed to find one in the end. I think I'm only running one on the drive side, can't quite remember!
