So whats the best budget gravel frame that will take 650b wheels?
Sonder Camino at £300 seems to be the obvious choice, but they aren't in stock.
Anything else around that price I should be looking at?

Anything?
Anyone recommend something other than the above that might be in stock around the £300 mark?

Have you got a groupset for it?

Not yet - was going to go for a cheap Chinese one or the Advent 9 speed (if I can track one down!)

Have you thought about ordering from Aliexpress? Generally carbon frames and a little over £300 but you could end up with a better bike in the end.

Haven't thought of an AliExpress frame - generally only get smaller stuff from there.
Might have a look and see what they have.
Also mindful of getting stung for import.

London road complete bike? (planet X)

The bike is £800. Sell anything off it you don't need?

Struck me the cheapest way to do wide range gravel 1x is sram 10sp shifters and an X8/X9 2.1 rear mech with an 11-42. Big steps but very good.

Sonder looks really nice. I'm looking within the same range too.

Genesis Datum at 50% off here is anyone is an XS: https://www.devercycles.co.uk/bikes/bike-frames/genesis-datum-frameset-xs-grey-x-small__21823? If I was a little shorter I'd probably blow the budget for my own build.

Very interested to hear peoples experiences with cheap carbon frames and group sets from China / Taiwan. I don't believe there are no semi passable frames to be had when ordering direct. The current Merida Silex looks awesome for MTB'ers moving from gnar to gravel but it's slightly out of my budget in carbon and hard to find as a frame only.

This and similar from the same brand look interesting from the Groupset perspective to keep costs down:
