Local news reports that the Cat & Fiddle pass has been closed due to snow overnight.
We have got very wet sleet, but constant rain all day by the look of it in Haydock, think I'd rather have snow.

Snow at the top of Spooky Woods yesterday.
Cloud has just lifted off the Roych, gray rather than white down to the Pennine Bridleway. Cat and Fiddle looked like it has had a few inches from the pics on the TV. I think there is a web cam up there.

Snow predicted at 1.200m, home is 1.150m, so with any luck I'll miss it. Snow ploughs were out in force this morning, so not looking good.
Aye, snowing here but only settled a 100m or so above the village.
Rushups edge snow capped.
Ben Rinnes has been white for over a week. I think there is 30cm forecast today inland. We only got a hurricane last night, the blooming thing kept me awake.

Yep, Snowdon, looking down over the railway. We went up sunday lunchtime, Rode most of the way up the Llanberis Path (snow was surprising grippy) then rode down the Rangers path, luckily the snowline was just above the first steep bit so was all ridable (apart from a couple of rock drops we couldn't get right!)
Cairngorm's funicular was on hold today due to snow drifts, so far looking good for the skiing/snowboarding season ahead, the sooner it starts the better.
