Found my front wheel has a broken spoke, from sitting in the garage for two weeks. not sure how its happened, but the nipple has snapped in the wheel. Should I just replace the nipple and get on with riding, or should the wheel go to someone who knows about wheels and get it re-shod/checked out.

Replace the spoke. Go out and ride.
