Following on from our own home brew trans wales trip from last year a group of us are heading back to ride more of the Brecons.. I am under orders to suss out some great trails ! I have maps etc and I am keen to find decent rideable stuff as sometimes a trail on the map is in fact a waste of time on the ground... not adverse to a bit of hike a bike...
I have ridden the Gap ride a few times ( great ) and the Tal y bont forest area and I am looking for some info on routes on The Black Mtn - theres a fair few BWs there and I would love some personal recomendations as to which are the best - going June time so hopefully be dry ! Have looked on mtbbreconbeacons etc but I always love hearing from fellow forum users as to their favourites - happy to swop route info re lakes / dales / peaks / somerset in return !
Oh any particular campsites that rocked your world would be useful too or ones to avoid... it needs to be dog friendly too...
