Thinking of heading down to brefcha for a weekend soon, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good campsite near the trails and a pub?

none very close. not sure if the one in Rhydcymerau to the north of the forest is still open. Otherwise try Brechfa Bunkhouse.
