Good Evening All
So I’ve got some Hayes striker brakes I want to bleed up. I’ve seen online a kit that will do them how ever it looks like the kit is only compatible with these. I’d rather spend abit more and get a kit that will do all my other bikes too. I have shimano, hayes and Tektro. What do people recommend as a decent all round kit. ?
thanks
Tom
One of these for mineral oil
and one of these for DOT
Wow £100+ for a brake bleed kit !! ... bit rich for me ... get urself onto aliexpress , plenty on there for £10-£30 that will do exactly the same job or even amazon for £15
Yeah the park ones are very nice but for the odd bleed do u really need the dogs !
Epic bleed solutions kits always work for me, at about a hundred quid less than those ones linked above!

Err £230 by the time you have one for each fluid type!! But yeah other(much much cheaper ) versions are also available obvs. One Epic Bleed Solutions for each brake type would do you…
I was going to mention one of the cheap knock off versions of that Park Tool kit, but then noticed the 'decent' requirement ?
I have one of the cheap kits, it's not bad, the syringes are much better than inexpensive generic syringes. Lots of adaptors. I've bled Tektro and Shimano brakes successfully. However, plenty of room for improvement to make it nicer to use.
I've alawys just gone Epic, they're inexpensive enough that I don't care if they're model specific and it's a UK company- actually I think he used to post on here just as a member?

Same. The one bit of the Park kit I’d like is the strap on syringe holder and I see Epic sell those separately so I may just treat myself
