[Closed] Brake adapters and chainstay mounting

I have a Transition Vanquish frame which runs the rear brake on the chain stay. I also run a Hope E4 caliper with a 160mm rotor.

I'd like to go up to 180mm but the Hope mount isn't going to fit because it moves the caliper back and angles it up where it will clash with the seat stay.

Does anyone use any non Hope adapters to go 160-180 post mount with a Hope E4 caliper? Even better if they fit between chain stay and seat stay.

I think you'll have to use the sram little black pillars 12.5 & 7.5 with one conical washer if the hope or NSB style don't fit, the bolt through type adapters can foul the E4 caliper, an Uberbike one for example needs about 1mm filing off in the middle of the bridge section, others foul it worse by a few millimetres, you simply need to raise the caliper up about 14.5 & 9.5mm, you could bodge with a conical washer stack and some plain washers or get some thick alloy washers from ultraturn on ebay, measure the thickness of a pair of conical washers then work out the spacer size to make it 14.5 & 9.5mm.

Cheers. I had wondered about that but couldn't find any diagrams to get the measurements off. I think A2Z do a set of 20mm spacers but I can see how that's not going to work with a 4 pot caliper.
