Me and a few mates are going down to Manchester for a boys weekend at the end of the month and are after some recommendations of:

Places to stay (cheap but decent)
Things to do
Places to eat
Good pubs etc.

We're going to do a couple of sessions at the Manchester velodrome, but other than one of my mates dragging us along to a strip club on one of the nights (happened every boys weekend for the last 9 years - he can't help himself ๐Ÿ˜‰ ), our time is unaccounted for.

Over to you.

I hear that Canal Street is very popular for a boys night.

Stay old school for the pubs:

Pevril of the peak

Britons protection

The Marble arch

and loads more.

There are a couple of low cost hotels in the city centre (travel hut and what have you)

Food: China Town is a giggle, try Yang Sing, there are better but it hits loads of the right buttons.

Late doors perhaps the comedy club (plus a few good late bars out by Deansgate locks)

Sorry to disappoint Capt. but it ain't that kind of 'boys weekend'.

Although, judging by how much the lads are looking forward to getting away from their wives and kids for a couple of days, there's no saying where we'll end up!

Book a session of indoor karting at Daytona in Trafford Park; good fun it is.
