I broke my collar bone the other week descending towards Coldwell Clough & am sitting here feeling somewhat frustrated at the gorgeous weather we're having
It's the first time I've had a bad injury that's kept me off the bike for a while so was wondering if anyone has any advice for
A Relieving the boredom &
B any tips on getting back confidence & fitness when I'm allowed back on the bike
I've got an Alps trip coming in July & want to enjoy it without worrying about breaking myself again!

I broke my shoulder a year and a half ago.
Time is your friend. Confidence will return. I don't even think of it now but, at first, every root, rut and rock was the centre of my hard stare.
Remember to think about what you want to happen rather than what you don't want to happen. In thirty years of riding I have had two big offs. Pretty good odds.
To relieve boredom, I walked the trails and spotted new lines. And did my rehab.
Healing vibes to you.
Cheers
The off was due to a strong gust of wind (I think) so I'm hoping to not to be too phased by trail furniture
(Dislocated) Fingers crossed!
