Morning. Just bagged this on ebay for my tall 11 yr old lad

Of course I now will have the chance to upgrade two bikes (not that the wife will be happy about of course)
Anyone have/had one of these? Going to stick with crank/gears/breaks if all ok, got some rims and tyres to stick on, but wondering what length the front and rear shox will take? No point upgrading to fox / maybe rockshox, cheap rear with lockout would be good. Any suggestions would be grand.

don't want to be a panic monger (or any other monger for that matter) but would advise check frame carefully for cracks (on chainstay I believe).
based purely on internet reports of many failures. type into google "carrera banshee c" and it even suggests cracked frames. seems to happen even mild use.
not saying it's a bad bike, just to check you are aware of potential.
