This may have been discussed at length before but has anyone successfully put a bottle on a mark 1 frame?

I use mine on my seatpost but I could also put it on the top tube near the steerer like an old marin.
On my superlight I used one of those magnetic bottles. It stayed on over any rough ground but would fall off with just the slightest sideways nudge.
The sks would have been so much better.
