My frame has loads of room for a bottle but the bosses are positioned so a 700ml bottle is very close to the top tube especially with an edc pump hi
older between the cage and frame, and bottle is sometimes knocking the toptube on a downhill section. I’m after a side loading cage thats got lots of adjustment so I can slide it down to give more wiggle room, don't really want one of those extra bodge add ons. Surely this isnt too much to ask.

You can always put the top hole of the cage on the bottom frame bolt hole and cable tie the bottom of the cage to the frame.

Alternative position cage mount

Edit: Just seen your last comment but seems simpler than a different bottle holder...

I've got one of these, but it doesn't have loads of adjustment room...

If you do end up with a bodge the wolf tooth stuff is good.

Quick list of alt position thingies:

topeak - fixed position, quite tall
Wolftooth B-Rad - spendy, lots of adjustment
76Projects - looks like a Wolftooth but cheaper, wish I’d known about it first

spesh zee 2 looks like its got a bit of wiggle, going to try one and those topeak alts might work with the pump bracket in different holes to the cage so wont stick up too much, maybe.
