I decided to pop a bottle cage back onto my Norco today, (11.5months old)
The rivnut insert on the cage mount detached itself from the frame & the bolt stayed put. I only put it in last week, with lube, and only nipped up.
Any hints on removing the bolt? It just spins round in the frame at the moment
Also... warranty? I can't decide in my mind if it's bad enough to try, and be away from my go-to bike for a few months
Just get it mended and move on.
There's plenty of YouTube videos available showing you how to repair them. I've not done it but a previous thread suggests it's pretty easy to do.
Just take back to shop you got it from and get them to fix the riv nut if you don't want to mess about it. It's a simple and common job

Cheers, that's tomorrow's job sorted
Dribble some superglue in while rotating it - carefully! Then leave it overnight.
