Me and the good lady are heading to Keswick on Thursday for her 40th birthday and are planning on riding the Bash on Thursday and something round Grizedale on Saturday.

We’re no fussed about getting wet etc. just wanted to know if anywhere was impassable due to downed trees or flooding?

Thanks 🙂

Heavy snow and high winds forecast for tonight, could make for some tricky riding conditions tomorrow

Bash should be fine, whinlatter all open currently, don’t know grisedale but any snow is only on the tops at the moment.

Thanks Tom, much appreciated. Was more worried about trees down in Grizedale to be honest. Hoping to walk Grizedale Pike on Friday, weather/snow depending.

Little update, just got back from work and Keswick area is beautifully white down to quite low level- not massive amounts and roads fine, but pretty! Possibly more coming overnight.

We carried up the front of Grisdale Pike last night - ice under fresh snow near the summit. Tread carefully.
