Yes. Just a tube

Not the lightest at 273gm each, but pretty decent quality and thickness of butyl/rubber.

They still puncture and pinch flat, but a tube's a tube, right?

I'd buy them again if I was looking for spares

really, that heavy? or is that for the chunkier tubes?

i'm looking at the 26x1.7-2.1 tubes... never bother getting bigger tubes as i assume the rubber just has to expand a little more.

Yup, just weighed one on the kitchen scales.

Tbh I'm not a weight watcher and went for the 26x 2.1 - 2.6's though as took them to the Alps and running 2.35 tires. Your right about it expanding a bit, but it also makes he tube walls thinner, if that matters at all.

yeah it's thinner, but is .05mm enough to make the difference between a pinch flat or not?

usually if i hit the rim hard enough i'll pinch flat. not sure if the extra gnat's cock is going to change that.

I had a bunch of these split along the 'seam'. I did like the green valve cap though ๐Ÿ™‚
