When I replace my 2015 Spectral frame with a Cotic Rocket or Bird Aeris 145, I'll have to boost adapt my Hope Pro 2 Evo rear wheel. What about the crank I have on the Spectral (SRAM X1), is it incompatible with a boost frame?
Thanks
I went from a Solaris to a flare max (boost). Did the wheel adaptor , and used standard cranks. My only issues is that if I want to use a 30 front ring it will be a close run thing!
You can just buy a ‘boost’ chainring for your current Cranks (superstar components is a good place to start) , this will give you the correct offset. You might be ok with the current chain line but it’s abt easy fix if you want it spot on.
One of these will do the job.
Other retailers available of course.

If you do this with a Hope conversion kit you'll still have a non boost chainline so stick with a non boost crank as long as the chainring clears the chainstay.
