Had a bit nasally cold for the last 8 weeks or so. Nothing too dramatic and doesn't stop me training or riding. Just a bit of mucus in the morning and reduced sense of smell.
Anyway, went for my first dive of the year today and couldn't get below 3m because of sinus pain - wasn't expecting it as I'm not really that blocked up.
Anyway to cut to the chase, don't think it warrants a visit to the docs, but want to clear it up. Any old wives / proven solutions out there?
Boogers? Are you an American?
Half a yard of Vic up each nostril
Vics and a bowl of steaming hot water?
Decongestant tablets (mmm pseudoephedrine)?
Decongenstant nasal spray?
Cut out any dairy products until it's cleared up.
Go to the doctors... A friend of mine had a sinus problem and had to give up diving in the end and have many surgeries... worth getting it checked out IMO.
