Are they all tubeless ready, only mine don't have TLR written on them......?

They are black/white graphics, with "XR4 Team Issue" written on.

Think so. You have them, they all need sealant, so why not just try them?

I might ride them in a 132k event - I'd rather have some certainty....

Eh? The roll well.... I'm riding in flinty areas so better than a light weight tyre.

I've seen some Aspens going cheap?

Rode mine tubeless with no problems whatsoever.

Can't say I'd recommend Aspens if it's flinty - as great as they are.

Great tyres, they are tubeless ready. Trust me. I had them tubeless for 8 months on my 5 spot. Only thing that made me change them out was the awesomeness of Hans Damfs. 🙂

There are two versions, a tubeless ready one that's marked TLR and a normal clincher tyre that's not. Which doesn't mean you can't convert them anyway. I found the TLR version took a while to seal properly, like a week or so, but tyres vary.

Edit: http://www.bontrager.com/model/11643 there you go, just click on the 'details' tab at the top.

Won't you be too exhausted from all this fretting and worrying to actually ride? 😉

Ah. They are going in American Classics which currently have mud x TLR's on so there will be sealant around the bead.

Ah what the hell Nics were ok....

Edit: BWD yes probably. :-/ Incidentally, I have the Bonty website open on another tab - cant get it to show 26" tires....

The Team Issue are slightly lighter than the TLR version . They are not designed to be run tubeless , however many Trek sponsored riders use them tubeless . That was what the guys at Trek told me when I asked about it .

Tried to run them tubeless and with no luck using stans. Will be buying the tlr soon as the thinner faster option to my dampfs. If you shop around I've seen the tlr for £30.

FFS. I've just fiddled with the bead VS a standard Nobby Nic. It seems much more floppy, not sure i want to trust them....
