i've had a think and it seems there isn't anything much i want or need in the coming month apart from the above.

can anyone recommend a decent set of bollé glasses? i've had a pair in the past but they've several more designs available now (i'm talking <£10 price range). also, a recommended seller?

and i've seen talk on here in the past of people having bought a pair of these goretex trousers and cutting them down.

are they any good? what is the sizing like? and can you recommend a seller?

many fanks.

Sizing on the army goretex is "generous".
I think I'm probably a 34" waist in reality (on a bad day) but found the
80cm waist trousers fitted best over lycra shorts.

Sizing is expressed in three cm numbers: leg length; waist; ass.
I think that's the correct sequence but you should check a few adds.

The army ones are without pockets or pocket/fly oppenings. Plain; simple; waterproof 😀

The fact that there's a membrane in there means the cut edge doesn't fray when you cut 'em down.

Very happy with mine. Now when I get back home I can just hose myself down with 'em still on. Jacket + shorts + shoes ... all nice and clean.

The Bolle Contours are pretty good for £6. The ESP is a decent tint.

p&p was a little steep but a whole bunch of us at work bought some just for winter so it wasn't too bad.
