Moved house a couple of months ago and the new home has a Vaillant EcoTech Plus boiler fitted - think it's maybe 3-4 years old. Anyway, it generally works fine but the pilot flame needs reigniting every couple of days as turning on the hot water tap doesn't seem to activate it. I hold in the ignite button for 3 seconds and all is good. Any ideas? Am I likely to be in for a big bill? Ta v much.

There should be a flashing fault code if it's going to lockout.
You are better off getting someone to look at it.
