Tell tale rattle of worn top hats on the bottom shock mount?
Take unworn top hats from the top mount, split across both mounts and hey presto no more rattling.
Not sure how long it'll last...

I just used some slivers of PVC tape...

Wraps of PTFE tape do the trick.
