Have got a 456 frame with closed routing, as described in this old topic:
http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/456-disc-brake-removal-help
In the opposite position, am fitting Stroker Rydes, not wanting to disconnect bits & bleed etc... is a suitable quick bodge (until I muster the enthusiasm to do the job proper) simply to zip tie the hose in place along the tube & using the closed guides as zipping points also?
Any pitfalls to this approach I should be aware of?
Cheers, Andy
I have just zip tied to the closed guides.....i did try removing the hose but the olive wouldn't fit through and as I didn't have any olives or bleed kit or mineral oil I quickly reconnected the hose hoping I wouldn't have to bleed the brake.
The only other thing I could think of would be to cut a slot in the guides just wide enough to squeeze the hose in.
Cool, thanks.
