Has to be the best 15 quid night out I ever had ๐Ÿ˜€
12.5% of riders with moderate injuries, (one broken hand and a badly sprained ankle) and came home absolutely knackered.

What it looks like from behind the handlebars.

You couldn't clear any of the jumps either then ๐Ÿ™‚

Brilliant isn't it.

nobody in the group had done it before so big air really wasn't on the menu ... it was a lot of fun, my hands are blistered but I'd definitely do it again

Depends, I used to use a local track instead of a turbo over the winter. It had a small berm so you could carry speed from the final straight and just about pedal upto the stop of the start ramp. It was utterly brutal, just depends how much you pedal :-p.

No, I didn't mange to clear any of the jumps, I did try to get a bit of air towards the end. Promptly binned it, bashed my bollocks on the handlebars and then got run over by EdHornby!

Not knackered at the end? I was knackered at the end of every run, which lasted about 45 seconds. Serious interval training

Oh, and I wasn't riding at the back, I'd swapped bikes. Mid pack mediocrity for me, much like when I join an MTB race. ๐Ÿ˜€
