I currently have a medium sized Blur Classic and a large Heckler.

The Blur feels fine size wise, and the Heckler feels like I'm sitting on large fence panel. I've seen a few TRc frame & fork combos for sale so am considering getting rid of both my current bikes and replacing with a TRC.

The large size frame should be the right size but don't want to end up with a bike that's the wrong size, looking on the interweb I've seen other discussions around this. What's the consensus for a rider of 5' 11"?

Thanks.

The SC sizing chart puts you on a Large. It's a reasonable assumption that the folk who designed it have a good ideas of who it fits.

FWIW, I have a Medium Blur XCc and I'm 5'7".

I test rode a TRc a few weeks ago, a large was spot on at 6'.

Where have you seen deals?

I am 5'9 but have a 30" inseam and my Medium fits me fine with a 50mn stem so a Large for you should be good.

I'm 5'11" ... tried out a friend's large TRc the other day and it was spot on.

Bike scene have deals on the frames.. £1000 off !! (edit: too slow!)

The TRC has a longer top tube than the Heckler so I would think stick with the Medium your happy with.

I was looking on ebay, there are 2 sellers with large frames, forks and headsets for circa £2,200.

My Heckler doesn't feel that stretched out (think I have a 70mm stem) just feels as though i'm 'on top' of the bike, whereas the Blur Classic feels like a normal riding position.
