Two things:
I want to swap out my existing XD driver on my DT Swiss boost 350 rear hub for a “shimano” freehub.
I’ve found a £30 freehub on eBay but no end cap. Can I reuse the one from the XD? If not how can I minimise expenditure - does a cheaper freehub and cap exist? E.g. bontrager?
Secondly, can I use a 200mm rotor with my Shimano saints? Last time I ran big shimano brakes I used 203mm rotors. Considering shimano themselves produce a 180mm rotor I assume an ordinary 20mm post mount plus saint calliper and SRAM 200mm rotor should be fine?
Thanks for getting this far and letting me know!
Cheers
Can I reuse the one from the XD?
No, they are different.
This is the cheapest I've seen for both, and I've not seen any 'generic' dt swiss compatible freehubs out there.

Ignore the link, you need ratchet, not 3 pawl.
