Not much that hasn't been done already when it comes to bicycles - have a Google for the bellywhopper bicycle from 1956. I think the bellywhopper looks better though!

I had a shot on a custom pro-cumbent constructed by the frame builder Venom, in the mid 90s. It had a smaller front wheel under your face, and you steered via a couple of stub bars attached to the forks. It was interesting to ride, but pretty twitchy.
