Thought it worth mentioning that Bird's customer service is excellent. Had a slight issue with a new frame, they were all over it within minutes and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. I am now the happy owner of two bird bikes, great ride, great service and a fantastic price.
No, they didn't pay me to write this, I'm just a really pleased rider who thinks they deserve recognition for their hard work.
I concur. I hope it can continue as they grow, as I'm sure it's a massive part of their success to date. No reason to think it won't mind.
I've had great service from them too.
The main reason I went with Bird is their customer service. A couple of mates from the Army Enduro Team had Aeirs' and at the time I had a YT and was having MAJOR issues with them. Decided to dump the YT and go with Bird, bought a frame only and did a custom build. Even though I only bought a frame at a race I spanked in my chain guide and a frame bolt. Ben from Bird was there and just gave me a new chain guide, chain and chain ring, then fixed the bolt, the only bit that came from Bird. Where else can you get that?
Phone them and you don't just get a receptionist, you get one of the guys who own the company. Got a problem, you speak to the designer. Superb, can't see how I'd ever own another brand now.
Had a couple of things from them and they have been first class in responce to my queries and also on delivery
Nice guys, glad I bought from them. They sorted me out with a rolling chassis at very short notice and lent me a shock when mine broke.
Yep, seconded. They sorted me out with a demo the other day around FOD and came riding with us too. If I could only convince the missus to let me have the credit card...
Also very impressed with the service I've had. Super helpful and quick when my reverb went tits up and also with the build queries that I had prior to ordering.Cheers!
My riding buddy has an Aeirs which he loves, he really enjoyed the fact that they sat with him and got the build just right. He's had 2 issues with the frame where the pivot bolts used were the wrong spec, Bird took the frame in, cleaned it, fixed it (twice), gave him copious amounts of coffee and since then it's been fine. He was particularly impressed that they sorted it out while he waited and talked him through the issue in detail (he's an ex-engineer).
I've just bought a Zero TR with an ex demo fork and Dan has been super helpful answering my, frankly, dumb questions. I'd buy an Aeirs if I din't already have a WHyte T-130 Works.
The main reason I went with Bird is their customer service.
+1
Customer service has been great, long may it last. Other companies need to take a leaf out of Bird's book.
