My God it was hard going. I clogged loads, wanted to quit by the second lap and swore "never again", but on the way home, I was already thinking of how to do better next time.
Suffering like that is good for the soul.

Great fun - everything that 'cross should be: fast, painful, technical, muddy and best of all: completely pointless!
